Transferring Lotted Items to Customer Non-Owned Inventory Lots

This options allows lotted items to be transferred to a designated location and added to a customer's non-owned inventory balance. The lotted items page displays all lotted items on the sales order. The default status of all lotted items is entered on sales order is S (S=ship). Use this option to transfer the item and balance to the customer's non-owned inventory.

 

1. Within the Sales Orders and Shipping function, command options appear when a sales order is displayed: Add, Change, Delete, Header, Lot, Guide, History, Messages, Finish, Void, Exit. See Adding Sales Orders for more information on the Sales Orders command options. Select Lot to transfer items to customer non-owned lots.

2. Command options appear: Change, Exit.

Select Change.

3. Scroll to the line to be transferred and press Enter.

4. At the S/T field, enter T to transfer this item into a non-owned lot.

5. If a location was not specified, press F3 to display a list of locations from which to choose from. Scroll to the appropriate non-owned location and press Enter.

6. An item info attributes window displays. Enter the non-owned lot number for the customer, date opened, COOL identity, and item info lot attributes. Lot numbers must be unique for a given customer. See Non-Owned Inductions for more information.
